Official Call VOTE 19th VA GOP Canvass November 23 — Special election on January 11, 2011
Welcome To Adams4Senate! My name is Melvin Adams and on Monday, November 8, 2010 I officially announced my candidacy for the Virginia 19th district State Senate seat.
Six individuals joined me in the special Republican Primary. My campaign team did a magnificent job and helped me finished a strong second. I congratulate Bill Stanley who won the primary and wish him a strong win in the special election to be held on January 11, 2011. It is imperative that we fill the seat with a Republican.
I would like to congratulate Congressman-Elect Robert Hurt on his resounding victory on November 2. I am committed to continuing the strong conservative leadership in Richmond on behalf of the people in the 19th district. There are certain values and principles that we in the 19th district hold dear and I am committed upholding those values that make this such a great place live. Values of faith, family and hard work have long been at the core of this great Commonwealth. These same values will carry us through the challenges we face today.
As a Husband, father and more recently a grand-father I have never been more committed to working to ensure we can all live in freedom and prosperity. Our nation and our state continue to face difficult time and I pledge that I will work hard for you.
